A couple of
years ago now I read Paulo Coehlo’s
book The Pilgrimage.
It was a time
that I was going through a bit of a difficult
and tricky time with one of my Associates
and was considering the course of action
I should take. In the past I had tried to
be “nice” and not confrontational,
but this didn’t seem to be working
and I was feeling that I was beginning to
be taken advantage of by this person.
In the book
there is a passage about a Black dog and
the interaction between the dog and the
Pilgrim. I don’t want to spoil the
book for the reader, but I found a lesson
in the writing about that interaction with
the Black Dog that gave me the insight to
handle the situation, as I did, and save
me a lot of heartache and further unpleasantness
in the future. Perhaps when reading the
story you can also see the analogy with
interactions you have, or perhaps you will
receive your own message and direction while
on the Pilgrimage.
I am now planning
to embark on my own pilgrimage, taking the
route outlined in the book, in the not too
distant future. A friend of mine did it
recently and said it was a remarkable experience.
Perhaps you would like to join me. Look

Happy
Journeys.
