Joe Cauchi, Marketing Associate

Joe Cauchi, a veteran of the travel and hospitality industry, has spent the past 25 years holding key sales and marketing positions with Thomas Cook Travel, Singapore Airlines, Beaufort Hotels and more recently Marco Polo Hotels.

Joe is no stranger to the Asian region. He has had many years dealing directly with key players in all facets of the industry throughout the Asian region. His focus has always been to ensure delivery of promise.

Joe is a branding specialist whose successes can be traced throughout Australia, Singapore, Vietnam and Hong Kong. He is recognized internationally as an innovative sales and marketing professional.

Based in Hong Kong. Joe is responsible for the consolidation of all Sanctuary Resort’s sales and marketing activities with the primary task of supporting the regional office as well as the individual properties on all sales and marketing related matters.

Barbara Kiao-Muller B.A.A., Associate

Previously an adjunct Lecturer at the T.A.F.E. College (Australia) and the Northern Territory University in the field of Marketing, Management, Organizational Behavior, Group Rooms Administration and Communication. Mrs. Kiao-Muller provides consultancy services to hotel operators and owners, as well as conducts training throughout the Asia Pacific Rim.

Mrs. Kiao-Muller has extensive national and international experiences in the hospitality industry and served in various managerial positions in Canada, Hong Kong, Australia, and China. She has over 19 years of experience in the hospitality industry and obtained her Bachelor Degree (B.A.A.) in Hospitality & Tourism Management in Canada. Mrs. Kiao-Muller speaks fluent English, Mandarin, Shanghainese and Cantonese.

In the past twelve years of operation in the Asia Pacific Rim, Mrs. Kiao-Muller has successfully helped both international and national companies / hotels to improve customer service standards and productivity, and numerous individuals to achieve their goals. With her love for the Hospitality Industry and people, she will continue to do so in the many years to come.

Currently Managing Director of Kiao-Muller & Associates (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. and Kiao, Mueller & Associates (Australia), a hospitality consulting firm which offers on site training and assistance in "quality management" implementation.
